Angie Kim

PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program - Walgreens

Dr. Angie Kim is completing her PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program with Walgreens and Western New England University. She is originally from Seoul, South Korea. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at MCPHS University in Boston, MA. Dr. Kim’s professional interests include ambulatory care, transitions of care, and academia. She hopes to increase health care knowledge in the community and to promote accessible and equitable health care for all patients. In her free time, she enjoys singing karaoke with friends and family, going on a long walk outside, and cooking new Korean dishes.

PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident - Big Y

Dr. Laura DiVirgilio is the current PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident with Western New England University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Big Y Foods, Inc. Dr. DiVirgilio is a Western New England College of Pharmacy alumni where she earned her PharmD degree this past May.

Dr. DiVirgilio’s current interests include academia, medication therapy management, and chronic disease state management with a particular interest in diabetes. Outside of residency, she looks forward to maintaining her long-term relationship with the underserved community in Springfield, MA by continuing her involvement with the Loaves & Fishes Community Soup Kitchen. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, drawing and painting, and baking.
