An Education You Can Afford
Tuition for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program (on campus and distance pathways) is $1,020 per credit for the 2024-2025 academic year. The total fee amount (including the University comprehensive fee, health service fee, OTD student activity fee, and OTD technology fee) for 2024-2025 is $3,540.
Courses are offered in three semesters annually: Fall, Spring, and Summer.

Distance learning cohort (DLC) students are expected on campus during the following immersive sessions:
Year One
- Orientation: One week the week before classes begin
- Fall Y1 Midterm: Half week in October
- Fall Y1 Final: One week in December
- Spring Y1 Midterm: One week in March
- Spring Y1 Final: One week in May
- Summer Y1 Final: Half week in August
Year Two
- Fall Y2 Midterm: Half week in October
- Fall Y2 Final: Half week in December
- Spring Y2 Final: One week in May
Year Three
- Spring Y3 DEx Orientation: Half week in January
- Spring Y3 Program Culmination: One week in May
On-campus housing with meal plan included will be available during these immersive sessions. A list of economical hotels in the area are available for students who might prefer off-campus housing. All transportation costs and meal costs will be incurred by the student.
Pending availability, on-campus housing may be purchased by students completing Fieldwork II in the Springfield area for an additional cost per 12-week session. All transportation costs and meal costs will be incurred by the student.
Deposited DLC students may apply for temporary, on-campus housing during immersive weeks through the Connect2U portal. All DLC students should reach out to Residence Life at 413-782-1317 or residencelife@wne.edu for additional information regarding on-campus housing.

Enrollment Deposit
Students who are accepted into the OTD program must submit an initial enrollment deposit of $250 within four weeks of notification of acceptance to secure a seat in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. A second deposit of $250 is due by April 1.
Students who are accepted after mid-March will have two weeks to pay both enrollment deposits of $500 total. All enrollment deposits are non-refundable and are credited toward fall tuition.

Scholarships
The Occupational Therapy Impact Scholarship is awarded to full-time, incoming Doctor of Occupational Therapy students who are not enrolled in any Western New England University undergraduate program. Eligible students will be awarded an annual scholarship of $6,000 (Prerequisite GPA up to 3.09), $8,000 (Prerequisite GPA 3.10–3.49), or $12,000 (Prerequisite GPA 3.50–4.00) as long as they meet satisfactory academic progress.
ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥app undergraduate students enrolling in the OTD program through our 3+3 pathways will recieve undergraduate aid during the first three years at ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥app and will receive undergraduate merit aid during the fourth year. A $12,000 Occupational Therapy Impact Scholarship will be awarded during years five and six. ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥app undergrads completing their ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥app undergraduate degree prior to matriculating into the OTD program will recieve the scholarship for all three years in the OTD program.
