Your UserID/Username is a unique alpha-numeric identifier, that in combination with your password allows you access to email, Connect2U, Self-Service, Kodiak, and other Western New England University online systems. UserID/Username is generally a combination of two (2) letters followed by six (6) numbers. For example, John Smith’s could be “js123456”. In some circumstances, it will be made up of the first letter of your first name and the first seven (7) letters of your last.
You should have received an email or letter indicating your UserID/Username. If you don't know it, contact the Enrollment Services department at 413-796-2080 or visit them in D'Amour Hall lower level.

Strong passwords help prevent unauthorized people from accessing files, programs, and other resources, and should be difficult to guess or crack. A good password:
- Is at least eight characters long
- Doesn't contain your user name, real name, or company name
- Doesn't contain a complete word
- Is significantly different from previous passwords
- Contains uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
