Nima Ahmadi
Nima Ahmadi attended Western New England University as a graduate student and earned his Master degree in Engineering Management. Currently, Nima is pursuing his PhD in Engineering Management. His primary area of focus is human factors engineering. He studied teens’ driving behaviours in terms of hazard perception skills, situation awareness, and eye movements. Nima’s dissertation topic is about designing an active training intervention for VFR novice pilots of general aviation using a flight simulator and an eye tracking device. Application of virtual environment in training is an area that Nima is passionate about. He is interested in data acquisition, data synchronization, and data analysis. Also, he is interested in applying machine learning skills in human factors engineering to better analyze experimental data, namely flight data, eye movements data, and verbal data.
