Lauren Dansereau MSN, ANP-BC
Executive Director of The Center for Health and Well-Being, Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Dansereau is the Executive Director of the Center for Health and Well-Being at Western New England University. In her role, Lauren serves as the lead champion and administrator providing vision and leadership to ensure exceptional health and well-being services for all students and the University community. Working alongside her team of top skilled and diverse medical and mental health care providers, Lauren and the Center for Health and Well-Being provide medical care, mental health counseling and psychiatry, health promotion, prevention, and education.
Joining Western New England University in 2008, Lauren has provided health care to students and employees as a Nurse Practitioner, Health Educator, Associate Director, and active member of Student Life. Nationally, Lauren is a member of the American College Health Association as a Board Member, Advanced Practitioners, Member at Large.
Prior to her position at Ӱֱapp, Lauren was a Nurse Practitioner at Springfield Medical Associates, Springfield, Massachusetts and worked many years within the Trinity Health System (Providence and Mercy Hospitals) as a Registered Nurse in diverse areas of healthcare and leadership.
Lauren grew up and currently resides in Western Massachusetts with her family. She is a graduate of Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After years of working in hospitals, she attended UMASS Medical School, Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester, Massachusetts and received her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
