Students in the department’s undergraduate major in Business Analytics and Information Management receive a B.S. in Business Administration. This means that they graduate with a broad-based understanding of both business functions and information technology. This combination gives them the in-demand skills prizes by employers in virtually every field.
Our faculty are exceptional classroom teachers who are trained with the use of SAS Analytics, SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP Analytics, and IBM Analytics tools. They work with students within the major and all College of Business students pursuing SAP certification.

Polygon.io is a financial markets data platform which uses real-time APIs to connect users to data on stocks, crypto, forex, and other important financial markets. Polygon.io's tools enable students to develop and test business analytics models to see how factors from social media to medical breakthroughs can influence markets.

A New Center for Collaborative Learning
The Business Analytics Technology Center in D’Amour Library provides students with the latest SAP Software for both ERP and Analytics. Courses in Analytics are taught at the Center through its state-of-the-art technology. Students also use the Center to work on team projects and to make project presentations in upper level courses.
