  • Mutual Fund Accountant, State Street Corporation
  • Stress Testing Analyst, GE Capital

Students graduating with the elementary or secondary education option have all found employment at various schools in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Internships

The Department of Mathematics works closely with the Kevin S. and Sandra E. Delbridge Career Center to make students aware of relevant internships. Recent students have obtained internships at MassMutual, GE Financial, Towers Watson, and various other banks and insurance companies.

An internship is often paid, and many of them take place over the summer. Some internships can be done for credit during the year through the MATH 480-481 Internship in Mathematics courses.

If you are interested in obtaining an internship, work with your faculty advisor and the Career Center. You may have to start as early as the fall to obtain an internship for the following summer.
