Western New England University's Department of English and Cultural Studies, in collaboration with the Creative Writing Program, is delighted to announce the latest installment of the New Writers Reading Series. The event will feature acclaimed novelist and poet Rachel B. Glaser, scheduled for Thursday, March 14th, at 6:00 pm in Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy 300.
Rachel B. Glaser, recognized as one of Granta Magazine's Best Young American Novelists, has captivated audiences with her literary prowess. She is the brilliant mind behind the celebrated novel Paulina and Fran, as well as the author of the short story collection Pee on Water, and the poetry collections MOODS and HAIRDO. Glaser's work has been showcased in prestigious publications such as The Paris Review and McSweeney's, solidifying her reputation as a leading voice in contemporary literature. Notably, her short story "Ira & the Whale" was honored with an O. Henry Prize in 2023 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥app.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Glaser during a stimulating Q&A session following the reading, providing a unique insight into her creative process and literary inspirations.
