Cadence® University Program Member

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering gratefully acknowledges the generous support from , through their university program, for use of their EDA tools in our Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Curricula.

Current course offerings that utilize the Cadence EDA tools include:

  • EE 430 - VLSI Design - Introductory course to VLSI, exposing students to Analog/Digital circuit design using CMOS
  • EE 490 - Nanophotonics Design - Introductory photonics integrated circuit design course exposing students optical circuits combined with CMOS integration
  • CPE 420 - Computer Architecture - Introductory course to microprocessor design
  • CPE 462 - VHDL: Simulation & Synthesis - VHDL design course
